Dr Paul Abba qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2022 and as a SolicitorAdvocate with Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) in 2025. He is registered to appear before the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts (DIFC Courts) and the Abu Dhabi Global Market Courts (ADGM Courts). He holds a PhD in Law from the University of Exeter, an LL.M with Distinction from the University of Dundee, and an LL.B with First Class Honours.
With 16+ years of practice in the UK and Nigeria, including 3+ years as InHouse Senior Legal Counsel at one of the largest multinational energy corporation and 4+ years as a Senior Consultant Solicitor in the UK, he advises private, corporate and commercial clients on asset protection, civil litigation, corporate and commercial disputes, and wealth management, including matters connected with the UK, the UAE and the wider MENA region. He was recognised as an Exceptional Talent in Legal Research by the British Academy in 2019 and was twice awarded a Commonwealth Scholarship (2011 and 2014) by the British Council

- Coordinated short courses in energy and construction legal disputes and corporate mergers and acquisitions in Bahrain.
