QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

what partners

usually ask us

  • Can I bring or build my own team?

Yes. Subject to the firm’s criteria, you can bring an existing team or build one with Kingsley Wood. The in-house recruitment team can help source paralegals, trainees and qualified solicitors.

  • Is junior legal support available?

Yes. You can collaborate with junior associates or use paralegal support on demand. The current model allows you to retain 40% of their fees.

  • What technology and IT support is provided?

Kingsley Wood provides case-management technology without passing on licence fees, together with IT support for the software and log-in needs connected with your work for the firm.

  • Is there a minimum billing expectation?

There is no traditional billing target. The firm’s current expectation is that a Partner bills at least £70,000 per annum from their second year.

  • Can I build capital value and later exit my practice?

Yes. The model is designed to let you build a practice with measurable capital value, with the potential for an internal or external sale and support through that journey.
