Claire started her career in 2002 as a consultant supporting construction companies with dispute resolution. She went on to complete her undergraduate degree in Law in 2017, followed by a Master’s in Civil Litigation in 2018. Over the past seven years, she has built a thriving practice in construction law, construction disputes, and adjudication. In 2025, Claire qualified as an adjudicator in construction disputes and is now focused on expanding her construction law practice at Kingsley Wood.

With hands-on experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction law, she has acted on several high-profile matters before the High Court and the Court of Appeal. Known for her meticulous preparation and persuasive written work, Claire also delivers confident and effective advocacy in the courtroom.

Claire has extensive experience across construction, commercial, and civil disputes, representing clients in high-value and complex matters. Her work includes advising on multi-million-pound construction projects in London, drafting sub-contracts and consultant agreements, and acting in disputes ranging from defective works at residential properties to large-scale cladding litigation valued at £20 million. She has successfully represented clients in adjudications, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations, often achieving favourable outcomes in claims involving wrongful termination, unpaid invoices, and winding-up petitions. Beyond construction, Claire’s practice also spans contentious probate, TOLATA claims, commercial litigation, and insolvency and bankruptcy matters.
Interest
about me
Outside of her legal practice, Claire has a passion for singing and musical theatre, having performed at the Brighton Fringe Festival and served as Secretary for a local amateur theatre group. She is also a devoted mother to two daughters who keep her busy, and in her spare time she enjoys swimming, horse riding, and spending time with animals.
