Chim has been a qualified lawyer for over 15 years. In Malawi, she qualified as a Legal Practitioner in October 2008 where she practised as a generalist for 4 and a half years. While working towards her solicitor qualification, Chim worked for a top UK insurance company which provided an extensively agile and customer focussed experience for 7 years, enabling her to build on her risk analysis skills that support businesses with risk management.

Chim qualified as a solicitor for England and Wales in June 2020. She worked for a UK Top 200 law firm within the top 50 of the list, which was a risk and insurance specialist. She also worked for another UK Top 200 law firm where she consolidated her commercial law expertise having served some well- known UK brands and large plc entities. Chim currently specialises in non-contentious commercial contracts, technology law and compliance matters including data protection.
