about
Ataguba’s practice centres on data protection, AI governance and technology contracts.
He advises on UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, EU GDPR, cross-border data transfers, and the EU’s wider digital regulation suite, including the EU AI Act, DORA, the Data Act, the DSA and the DMA. As an AIGP-certified practitioner he carries out AI risk assessments and works directly with product, engineering and compliance teams to align AI systems with legal and privacy standards.
Alongside this regulatory work he brings civil higher-courts advocacy rights in England & Wales and many years of litigation and advisory experience, giving clients guidance that is both technically precise and commercially practical.
