Aji was qualified as a solicitor in 2017 after training at a leading City law firm. He also holds a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.


He specialises in advising start-ups, technology ventures, accelerators, and small businesses on a wide range of commercial and corporate matters. Aji also brings valuable experience working with music artists, managers, agents, designers, and other professionals across the creative industries.

Start-Ups and SMEs
Aji has extensive experience supporting start-ups and small businesses with their legal needs, including drafting and reviewing shareholder and investment agreements, articles of association, service level agreements, heads of terms, option agreements, employment contracts, and loan agreements. He also delivers legal workshops tailored for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and creatives.


Creative Industries
Aji regularly advises musicians and creatives on publishing agreements, management contracts, licensing, sync deals, and intellectual property matters, including trademark registration. He also launched an initiative providing free access to template non-disclosure agreements to empower creatives with accessible legal tools.

Beyond law, Aji is a passionate entrepreneur and creative leader. He co-founded ventures such as MIA London, an award-winning luxury fashion brand, and Ubuuru, a talent platform for Africa-based creatives, while also investing in innovative wellness projects. A published writer and speaker on diversity and African issues, his work has been featured at global conferences, in Guap Magazine, and commissioned by Nike. Aji has also appeared across major media outlets, including the BBC, Sky, and Al Jazeera, as part of the impactful 56 Black Men campaign.
