With over 20 years of cross-border commercial real estate and energy infrastructure experience, Aditi is a trusted advisor to private equity-backed energy platforms, UK developers, and strategic stakeholders. Her work spans legal structuring, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiations for smart grid systems, electricity networks, and ESG-led developments. She co-founded a consultancy providing strategic counsel on electricity regulation, market entry and architecture, embedded networks, and real estate– energy asset integration.

Aditi has extensive experience advising a PE-backed smart energy platform (SNRG) on structuring and implementing smart grid service agreements across multiple UK housing and commercial schemes. She has led legal negotiations on airspace and battery leases, substation leases, and private wire agreements, ensuring balanced risk allocation, compliance, and efficient energisation frameworks. Her expertise includes drafting and negotiating complex electricity supply and asset transfer arrangements in collaboration with science parks, registered providers, master developers, and housing developers. Aditi also advises on the regulatory aspects of the Electricity Licence Exemptions Order 2001 and financial ring-fencing rules for IDNOs. She has been instrumental in developing governance, guarantee, and indemnity frameworks, as well as innovative CIC/ESCO structures that integrate embedded energy assets within large-scale mixed-use developments.

Aditi is a keen traveller and enjoys exploring new cities with her family. She has a young son and is passionate about circular economy and sustainable urban living. Outside of law, she enjoys reading, cultural experiences, trying various cuisines, and staying informed about global socio-economic trends. She is currently based between the UK and Dubai, balancing her family lifestyle with her consultancy and infrastructure work.

She holds an LLB and a BA in Economics from the University of Pune (1998). With deep expertise in electricity regulation and smart infrastructure, she has built a strong reputation for her work in energy and utilities law. Aditi is also an active contributor to regulatory and legal policy discussions on embedded networks and electricity market reform, working closely with Code Administrators and industry stakeholders to shape practical and forward-looking energy solutions.
