Karen played high level sport in her younger days and still has a passion for keeping fit. Her adventurous spirit leads her to travel often, sampling local cuisines despite occasional culinary surprises. Karen spends her leisure time in the gym, gardening, reading and socialising.
She is also regularly found undertaking DIY projects for family and friends.

Karen is a qualified solicitor who has worked in the legal industry, both the UK and Australia, for over 25 years.
Karen completed her legal studies at Northumbria University in 2008 achieving a First Class LL.B (Hons) Exempting Degree and has 17 years’ post qualification experience in the UK.
Prior to joining Kingsley Wood, Karen was a partner in a highly respected North East law firm where she built up and managed a successful property department.
