Throughout his career, Jamie has led teams managing complex litigation, corporate restructures, and business sales and acquisitions. His work encompasses commercial disputes, shareholder and director issues, insolvency proceedings, and advisory matters for both businesses and private clients.

Jamie’s experience includes defending directors in wrongful trading and misfeasance proceedings under the Insolvency Act 1986 (2025) and successfully resisting a freezing injunction application in the High Court (2024). He has acted for shareholders in defending an unfair prejudice petition under Section 994 of the Companies Act 2006 (2018–2019) and has provided expert advice on the sale and purchase of multiple limited companies and complex group restructures.


In 2020, Jamie successfully defended and won a maternity discrimination and unfair dismissal claim before the Employment Tribunal. He also played a key role in managing the merger between Wosskow Brown Solicitors and Pennine Law Limited, overseeing a transition that led to improved operational efficiency and firm growth.

Away from work, Jamie enjoys spending time with his children, family, and friends. A lifelong motorsport enthusiast, he is passionate about Formula 1, MotoGP, and Speedway.

Jamie is a qualified Solicitor of England and Wales (2018) with a strong academic foundation, holding an LLB (Hons) in Law from Sheffield Hallam University (2011–2014), followed by completion of the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at The University of Sheffield (2015–2017) and the Professional Skills Course (PSC) at BPP University (2018).


His professional journey includes serving as Partner and Head of Department at both Wosskow Brown Solicitors LLP and Pennine Law Limited, where he later became Head of Litigation, Corporate and Commercial. These leadership roles have strengthened his depth of expertise in managing teams, overseeing complex cases, and driving strategic growth across multiple legal disciplines.
