Yasmin qualified as a Solicitor in 2019 after a long and varied career in industry which began as an Insurance Clerk for an insurance broker, moving through telecoms, retail, healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors before qualifying in-house taking a private practice seat in Commercial Litigation at Pinsent Masons.

about me
Yasmin is heavily involved in providing support for vulnerable families with SEND children and those living in Permitted Development Units. Yasmin is the local representative for Cycling UK’s Cycle Advocacy Network and has regularly contributed to the press on cycling and safety matters.
Yasmin is currently promoting a cycling project for those in need of a bike whereby old, unused bikes are donated and repaired or used for parts before being returned to the community.
Yasmin is a member of the local running and tri club, having previously been the Chair, and a member of the local cycling club (previously vice Chair) where she is working with the club to provide rides to those in receipt of the donated bikes to increase the riders confidence. Yasmin has volunteered at the London Marathon for the past 5 years but has only managed to run half marathon distances (very slowly). Yasmin has run over 150 park runs and volunteered over 25 times.
Yasmin has been a school governor since 2018 and has steered the trust to having a robust succession plan for all committees and was responsible, with her co-chair, for introducing the annual Away Day for all Governors to plan future strategies. Yasmin chairs panels for pupil exclusions and staff disciplinary hearings for the two Multi Academy Trusts.
