Prior to leading his own team of lawyers, Shekhar qualified and practised as a Solicitor at a top-tier City firm (2017-2021).
Shekhar leads a multidisciplinary group of 50 lawyers spanning four continents: Europe, North America, Asia and Africa (2021-present).

He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Shekhar practices both as solicitor and as arbitrator. He accepts arbitral appointments in both ad hoc and institutional arbitrations. As solicitor he acts in a plethora of commercial disputes in high court litigation and arbitration.

- Acted on behalf of a Scottish trading company with turnover of over £200m in its representations to central government.
- Acted on behalf of a British group of companies whose industries include manufacturing, haberdashery, arts & crafts and event decor
- Acted on behalf of a Delaware FinTech company in a Master Hosted Services Agreement with Citibank, N.A. London Branch, the 3rd largest bank in the United States of America. Lead lawyer in a LCIA arbitration acting for a hotel against an international hospitality group with a claim value of circa £6m.
- Acted as UK Counsel for a German entertainment studio, with funding of over €36m, in a cross-border investment agreement with a Hong Kong and BVI company.
- Acted on behalf of a UK SPV real estate company in the sale of a site with planning for apartments in Middlesex, to a Kazakh investor based in Turkey.
- Acted on behalf of a Dubai Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) trading company in an international arbitration claim value of $750,000 (U.S. Dollars) governed by BVI law.
- Acted on behalf of a UK consulting company to prepare a Facilities Agreement of circa £400,000.
- Advised and conducted a share buyback off-market purchase of company shares in a UK medical company for consideration of £100,000.
- Drafted and advised a Paris based humanitarian footwear brand on an international cross-border Sponsorship Agreement and Celebrity Endorsement Agreement with a well known African celebrity.
- Acted on behalf of the world’s first licensed secured blockchain infrastructure providing a suite of banking products to empower millions of retail & business customers for its Corporate & Commercial and Business Immigration matters.
- Acted on behalf of an Indian multinational company whose industries include tea production, construction, education, and trading to expand into the UK and Europe.
